The sun shone at the opening of the new site compound
Balfour Beatty are delivering one of the most complex marine engineering projects currently taking place in the world at Hinckley Point in Somerset. We were delighted to be invited to the opening of their new site compound at the 'Boots on the Ground' event on Thursday 19 September.
The compound, which impressively includes a gym, was bathed in warm autumn sun, while we gave seven demonstrations on how SaveSorb is the most versatile, effective, non-leaching absorbent of hydrocarbons, chemicals and heavy metals available today.
With a very sensitive ecology to safeguard at Hinckley, reactions to our demonstrations were brilliant. We had lots of questions and real engagement on how important it is to protect the environment during construction.
Specialists in environment conservation and pollution control. Designers of spill control solutions and purification systems removing contaminants, including heavy metals, from wastewater.
