June 2019 - Exhibiting at the SCS jv on behalf of HS2 at their Supply Chain Event
We were absolutely delighted to be invited by the Skanska, Costain, STRABAG (SCS) joint venture (jv) on behalf of HS2 to exhibit at their Supply Chain Event in Bloomsbury Square, London on 26 June.
HS2 – the biggest infrastructure project in Europe
Seen as a catalyst for growth across Britain, HS2 is the high- speed rail link between London and the Midlands. This £multibillion project is set to open for passengers late 2026 and is the largest infrastructure project in Europe.
Phase One from London Euston to Old Oak Common Station
The SCSjv, which brings together an industry-leading combination of tried and tested successful partnerships, worldwide high-speed rail experience and extensive international and regional knowledge, is responsible for delivering Phase 1 of HS2. This stretch of track from London Euston to Old Oak Common Station, a new super-hub set to be the best-connected rail station in the UK.
Our involvement with SCSjv on HS2
SCSjv are taking an uncompromising approach to protecting the environment, and through their commitment to environmental sustainability, they are setting new standards through best practice and innovation.
Part of this commitment to innovation is their promise to include SMEs in their supply chain. Often, companies of our size get overlooked, however, SCSjv recognises innovation often lies at the heart of everything SMEs do, that is why they want to work with us.
We are looking forward to being part of the SCSjv healthier, safer and more environmentally conscious supply chain, and to demonstrate the big difference our small company can make to a large organization like theirs, and the positive environmental impact we can have on the huge HS2 project.
